Fundamentals Workshop - Fully Virtual

4 weeks of Introduction to eLearning development, employability skills and entrepreneurship.

Track Selection Phase - Fully Virtual

3 weeks of hands-on design and development training on selected authoring tools for the Employability Track and Venture idea creation for the Entrepreneurial Track.

The programme is fully remote. All phases of the programme will be held virtually.

80% attendance to all virtual sessions and 80% pass mark of phase exams qualify you for the next phase. You will be compelled to drop out of the programme if you fall below the requirement to make it to the next phase. However, you will receive a certificate of completion for whatever phase you drop off.

Yes, there will be certification at the end of each phase of the programme. However, to qualify for a certificate, achieving a minimum of 60% attendance and 65% pass mark at each phase is required

The top 30 participants will engage in a 7-day sprint challenge online, where they will collaboratively develop full eLearning courses and innovative Edtech solutions. The sprint will include workshops, panel sessions, and a final close-out ceremony to showcase and reward top performers.

After the application process, there will be an internal screening that will select 100 eligible applications based on criteria such as listed in the CFA.

Admission Requirements

The training is designed for individuals who are new to instructional design and course development and also individuals who are nursing the idea of a scaleable Edtech solution. It is suitable for undergraduates, fresh graduates, and early to mid-level professionals looking to build a career in eLearning. Specifically, the training is open to African undergraduates and young professionals between the ages of 18 – 35. However, you must meet the following requirements;
